English abstract
Manifesto that recalls the first 60 years of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, particularly its articles 18 and 19 where it is defended the liberties of thought, expression, opinion; the rights to research and to receive information and to disseminate it without censorship. It also calls on the worldwide LIS community to remember this declaration and that they become aware and make theirs its principles in their daily practice.

Manifiesto que rememora los primeros 60 años de la Declaración Universal de Derechos Humanos, en particular en sus artículos 18 y 19 donde se defienden las libertades de pensamiento, expresión, opinión; los derechos a investigar y recibir información y difundirlas sin censuras. Y hace un llamado a la comunidad bibliotecaria mundial a que recuerde esta declaración y que tome conciencia en hacer suyos dichos principios en su práctica diaria.
