English abstract

Some thoughts on the subject of national digital repository are explained. The digital preservation of Uruguay to memory, registry, research, testimony and reflection of our identity is a challenge that include legal, technical and professional aspects and involves different actors, one of which is the National Library. Audiovisual heritage takes a special treatment for their specific characteristics and challenges.

Se planten algunas reflexiones sobre el tema del depósito digital nacional. La preservación del patrimonio digital uruguayo para memoria, registro, investigación, testimonio y reflejo de nuestra identidad es un desafío que tiene aristas legales, técnicas y profesionales y que involucra a diversos actores, uno de los cuales es la Biblioteca Nacional. Sobre el patrimonio audiovisual se realiza un tratamiento diferenciado por sus caracteristicas específicas y los desafíos que plantea.
