Results. The comparative study enabled to make visible the different situations and development of health library networks and existing institutional policies related to the concept of library network. A full description of library networks makes easer to interpret and establish indicators that visualize the strengths and weaknesses of a library network, providing a tool to compare contents of networks between institutions.
