Producción científica en Ciencias Sociales de las mujeres en Andalucía (2003-2007)

English abstract

The present study is a bibliometric analysis of the Social Sciences production of the women researchers affiliated to Andalusian universities from 2002 up to 2007, indexed in the Social Sciences Citation Index (SSCI) database. Growth in the number of publications and a high co-authorship collaboration were observed. The data also point to the fact that women researchers at the University of Granada are leaders of the Social Sciences research in Andalucía. It also reveals that most of these women researchers are small producers (58,92%) and only one "great" producer with 10 articles in SSCI was found.

Spanish abstract

En este estudio se realiza un análisis bibliométrico de la producción en Ciencias Sociales, de las investigadoras vinculadas a las universidades andaluzas en el periodo 2002-2007 y presente en la base datos del Social Sciences Citation Index (SSCI). Se observó un crecimiento en el número de publicaciones y una alta colaboración en la coautoría. Asimismo, los datos señalan a las investigadoras de la Universidad de Granada como el motor de la investigación femenina en las Ciencias Sociales de Andalucía. Se revela que la mayor parte de estas investigadoras son pequeñas productoras (58,92%) y solamente se halló una gran productora con 10 artículos en SSCI.
