English abstract

This paper is a methodology dedicated to those responsible for cataloging and indexing in Alice 5.5 software, written on practical application developed in the Library of Political Sciences from Bucharest Political Science Faculty and illustrated with examples for each area separately. We considered appropriate to present both monographs and volumes cataloging examples.

Lucrarea este o metodologie dedicata persoanelor insarcinate cu catalogarea si indexarea in softul Alice 5.5, elaborata pe aplicatia practica derulata in cadrul Bibliotecii de Stiinte Politice din Bucuresti si ilustrata cu exemplificari pentru fiecare zona in parte. Am considerat oportun sa prezentam deopotriva catalogarea monografiilor cat si exemple de catalogare pe volume.
