English abstract

This work covers the informational needs related to sports. This work emerged as part of the PhD thesis Community Profiling to Analyse Community Information Needs, and Providers: Perceptions from the People of the Broomhall Neighbourhood, from Sheffield, UK (Muela-Meza, 2010) as part of the author's doctoral program in Information Studies at the University of Sheffield from 2003 to 2007, thanks to a scholarship from CONACYT and the University of Sheffield.

Este trabajo abarca las necesidades de información relacionadas con el deporte. Este trabajo emana de la tesis doctoral: Perfilado de la comunidad para analizar necesidades y provisión de información de los residentes del barrio de Broomhall de Sheffield, Inglaterra, Reino Unido: Un estudio desde las percepciones de la gente, del autor (Muela Meza, 2010) como parte de su programa doctoral en Estudios de la Información en la Universidad de Sheffield, Reino Unido desde septiembre de 2003 a septiembre de 2007, gracias a beca del CONACYT y de la University of Sheffield.
