English abstract

The work describes the construction of a press based on the scientific study of printing book as a technology in a time and space coordinates, with verbal descriptions and designs of old presses.

El presente trabajo describe, de forma minuciosa y apasionante, la recostrucción de una prensa libraria siguiendo una metodología científica basada en el estudio del libro impreso entendido como producto de una tecnología enmarcable en unas coordenadas espacio-temporales exactas, las descripciones tanto verbales como gráficas de la época y el examen de prensas construidas con posterioridad y aún existentes.
