English abstract

The Open Access movement have developed policies to support the open publication in scientific journals, and complementary actions to create digital repositories. The goal, in the latter case, it is to make possible that authors deposit their content (articles, papers, theses, etc..) to be accessible online by all professional and scientific community. In the case of library science and related sciences (documentation, archiving, communication ...) E-LIS repository is a great example of a useful tool by and for the library community that believes in open access.

Con la generalización del movimiento Open Access (acceso abierto) se han desarrollado políticas de apoyo a la publicación en abierto de revistas científicas, y complementariamente acciones de creación de repositorios digitales. El objetivo, en este último caso, es posibilitar que los autores depositen sus contenidos (artículos, ponencias, tesis, etc.) para que sean accesibles en línea por parte de toda la comunidad profesional y científica. En el caso de la bibliotecología y las ciencias afines (documentación, archivística, comunicación...) el repositorio E-LIS es un magnífico ejemplo de herramienta útil realizada por y para el colectivo bibliotecario que cree en el acceso abierto.
