English abstract

iPads and iPhones have become the new babysitters, and more and more children’s books are being made into apps. Do we rejoice in a new way of reading, or do we cringe at children’s diminishing contact with physical books? Come and take a look at children's apps and their extended family, including ebooks, online books, multimedia tie-ins, and assistive technologies.
