English abstract

In 2010 The IFLA Working Group on the Functional Requirements for Subject Authority Records (FRSAD)published the work in english in both formats, print and on line. The model studies the relationship between a work, its subjects and the names of these concepts. The main goal of the model is to guarantee coherence on value representation of the elements used for subject access points for the properly information retrieval. The paper analyzes this model. En el 2010 el grupo FRSAD terminó el modelo FRSAD (Functional Requirements for Subject Authority Data) y lo publicó en inglés en 2011 en forma impresa y en línea. Este modelo analiza las relaciones que existen entre una obra, sus materias y el modo de nombrar estas materias. Este modelo tiene por finalidad el control de autoridades para garantizar la coherencia en la representación de un valor en los elementos utilizados como puntos de acceso en la recuperación de la información. Este documento se abocará en la descripción del modelo
