English abstract

It is explained some basic aspects of the mobile web with a description of the different tools we can find. In some cases it is offered different options that take into account, like the costs of each one of them. Finally, it is listed its applications in libraries, as well as the startup process in the library of the Universitat Politècnica de València of some of these tools.

Spanish abstract

Se explican algunos aspectos básicos de la web móvil con una descripción de las diferentes herramientas que podemos encontrar. En algunos casos se ofrecen diferentes opciones que tienen en cuenta, entre otros aspectos, los costes de cada una de ellas. Por último, se enumeran sus aplicaciones en las bibliotecas, así como el proceso de puesta en funcionamiento en la biblioteca de la Universitat Politècnica de València de algunas de estas herramientas.
