English abstract

Scientific excellence in the field of Biochemistry, grew in the period 2003-2009 and representing the 25,7% of total output. The percentage of publications in Q1 keeps stable around 39% . The bigger growth than five points were registered in publications Q3. The international collaboration increases lightly, especially for the national and international collaboration. The publications with no collaborations decreases more than seven points.

Las publicaciones de excelencia españolas dentro de la categoría de Bioquímica, crecen de 2003 a 2009, y representan el 25,7% del total de la producción en el periodo. El porcentaje de publicaciones en revistas del primer cuartil (Q1), se mantiene estable en torno al 39% entre 2003 y 2009 y las publicaciones Q3 crecen más de cinco puntos porcentuales. La colaboración internacional en esta categoría aumenta ligeramente durante 2003-2009 (sobre todo debido al tipo de colaboración internacional y nacional). Cabe destacar el descenso en más de siete puntos porcentuales de las publicaciones sin ningún tipo de colaboración.
