English abstract

The article sums up the results of the project performed by the Martynas Mažvydas National Library of Lithuania together with the Lithuanian Art Museum and the Lithuanian Archives Department. They embody the most successful accomplishment of the long-cherished idea to unite archives, libraries and museums for a common goal – achieving integrity of Lithuanian cultural heritage in the changing world and improving its access. This project has drawn positive attention of Lithuanian state institutions, archivists, the museum and library communities, researchers and scientists.
