English abstract

User manual for Omeka version 1.5.3, that is a free web publishing platform, flexible, open source, designed to show collections and exhibitions of libraries, archives, museums and any other facility. This is a project of the Roy Rosenzweig Center for History and New Media, also responsible for the Zotero bibliographic manager. Omeka has been released under a General Public License (GNU), therefore it can be distributed, used and modified freely.

Manual de usuario para la versión 1.5.3 de Omeka, que es un software de publicación web libre, flexible y de código abierto, pensado para mostrar colecciones y exposiciones de bibliotecas, archivos, museos y cualquier otro tipo de centro. Se trata de un proyecto del Roy Rosenzweig Center for History and New Media, responsables también del gestor bibliográfico Zotero. Omeka se ha liberado bajo una Licencia Pública General (GNU), con lo cual su distribución, uso y modificación es libre.
