English abstract

The continuous training of library and information professionald counts on new media that promote the exchange of experiences, news, etc. This presentation describes some of these systems, with particular attention to the electronic fora (listservs, Usenet and teleconferences) and electronic journals. A brief inventory of the existing systems on library and information science is included. Finally the IweTel characteristics (a Spanish electronic teleconference on LIS) are exposed.

La formación permanente de los profesionales de la biblioteconomía y la documentación cuenta con nuevos medios que favorecen el intercambio de experiencias, noticias, etc. En esta comunicación se describen algunos de estos sistemas, dedicando especial atención a los "foros electrónicos" -servidores de listas, Usenet y teleconferencias- y a las revistas electrónicas. Se incluye un breve inventario de la oferta existente sobre biblioteconomía y documentación. Por último se exponen las características de IweTel, teleconferencia electrónica española sobre nuestra profesión.
