English abstract

Information Society is presented as an opportunity where information will become the backbone of many economic sectors and an important asset in organizations. This implies that information professionals have to be familiar with legal issues that involve access and dissemination, some of which will be discussed to show the aspects that our industry must be considered, since it is expected an increase of conflicts on the network. Some of them are explained, while there is emphasis on the need to act collectively to generate opinion pressure and have an impact Catalonia, Spain an Europe

La Societat de la Informació es presenta com l’oportunitat per a què la informació esdevingui l’eix vertebrador de molts sectors econòmics, i un actiu important de les organitzacions. Aquest fet comporta que els professionals de la informació hagin d’estar familiaritzats amb els aspectes legals que el seu accés i difusió comporten, alguns dels quals seran tractats per donar mostra dels aspectes que el nostre sector ha de considerar, atès que és previsible un augment dels conflictes a la xarxa. Alguns d’ells són explicats, a la vegada que es dóna èmfasi en la necessitat d’actuar col·lectivament per a generar opinió, pressió i tenir incidència en els escenaris català, espanyol i, sobretot, europeu.
