English abstract

To be brought from the old School of Librarianship of San Carlos to the Federal University of São Carlos, the course was one of the pioneers in the country to worry about train professionals capable of handling the information in a very comprehensive, then going to be titled Library and Information Science. Fourteen years after being formed the first class, he felt the need to analyze the profile of the research followed the work of completion of graduation in order to better understand the fruits of that investment in the 'Information Science . " As part of the work to complete the course "Introduction to the methodology of scientific research" class newcomer in 2011 analyzed all TCCs have defended the course and listed references, grouping them according to the GTs ENANCIB. Because it was a job carried out with the participation of about 30 students in a short time, he felt the need to revise and expand the research, and thus generated a second edition of the repertoire, since some studies were not included and classifications according to the GTs needed to be revised. This new edition records 461 papers presented between 1997 and 2011. The ENANCIB (National Meeting for Research in Information Science), sponsored by the National Association for Research and Graduate Studies in Information Science - ANCIB, configures itself today as the main event area in Brazil and has allowed to identify the state of the art area, their research fronts, topics and research gaps to be filled. Have been of eleven editions of the event and during this period the structure was being discussed and arrived today the division into 11 working groups that interact and share research area in the following areas: GT 1: Epistemological and Historical Studies in Information Science , GT 2: Organization and Knowledge Representation, GT 3: Mediation, Circulation and Appropriation of Information, WG 4: Managing Information and Knowledge in Organizations, GT 5: Politics and Economics of Information, GT 6: Information, Education and Work , WG 7: Production and Communication of Information Technology & Innovation, WG 8: Information and Technology, GT 9: Museum, Heritage and Information, GT 10: Information and Memory, GT 11: Information and Health The TCCs were organized thematically according to the categorization of the working groups, however up becoming a science as interdisciplinary, many TCCs could be organized in more of a GT, but for purposes of systematization of references, it was decided to organize them thematically from your main issue considered . With this systematization perceives an alignment among the topics discussed in ENANCIB and TCCs course UFSCar ratifying the contemporary and validity of research in undergraduate Library and Information Science offered by the University.

Ao ser trazido da antiga Escola de Biblioteconomia de São Carlos para a Universidade Federal de São Carlos, o curso foi um dos pioneiros no país a se preocupar em formar profissionais capazes de lidar com a informação de maneira muito abrangente, passando então a ser intitulado Biblioteconomia e Ciência da Informação. Quatorze anos depois de ter sido formada a primeira turma, sentiu-se a necessidade de analisar o perfil das linhas de pesquisa seguidas nos trabalhos de conclusão de curso da graduação com a finalidade de se conhecer melhor os frutos desse investimento na vertente “Ciência da Informação”. Como parte dos trabalhos de conclusão da disciplina “Introdução a metodologia de pesquisa científica” a turma ingressante em 2011 analisou todos os TCCs já defendidos no curso e listou as referências, agrupando-as de acordo com os GTs do ENANCIB. Por ter sido um trabalho realizado com a participação de cerca de 30 alunos num curto espaço de tempo, sentiu-se a necessidade de revisar e ampliar a pesquisa, sendo assim gerada uma segunda edição do repertório, visto que alguns trabalhos não haviam sido inclusos e as classificações de acordo com os GTs precisavam ser revistas. Essa nova edição registra 461 trabalhos apresentados entre 1997 a 2011. O ENANCIB (Encontro Nacional de Pesquisa em Ciência da informação), promovido pela Associação Nacional de Pesquisa e Pós-Graduação em Ciência da informação - ANCIB, configura-se hoje como o principal evento da área no Brasil e tem possibilitado identificar o estado da arte da área, suas frentes de pesquisa, temas de interesse e lacunas de pesquisa a serem preenchidas. Já foram realizadas onze edições do evento e ao longo desse período sua estrutura foi sendo discutida e chegou hoje a divisão em 11 grupos de trabalho que relacionam e dividem a pesquisa da área nos seguintes eixos: GT 1: Estudos Históricos e Epistemológicos da Ciência da Informação, GT 2: Organização e Representação do Conhecimento, GT 3: Mediação, Circulação e Apropriação da Informação, GT 4: Gestão da Informação e do Conhecimento nas Organizações, GT 5: Política e Economia da Informação, GT 6: Informação, Educação e Trabalho, GT 7: Produção e Comunicação da Informação em CT&I, GT 8: Informação e Tecnologia, GT 9: Museu, Patrimônio e Informação, GT 10: Informação e Memória, GT 11: Informação e Saúde. Os TCCs foram organizados tematicamente de acordo com a categorização dos grupos de trabalho, contudo por se configurar enquanto uma Ciência interdisciplinar, muitos TCCs poderiam ser organizados em mais de um GT, mas para efeito de sistematização das referências, optou-se em organizá-los tematicamente a partir de seu assunto considerado principal. Com essa sistematização percebe-se um alinhamento entre os temas discutidos no ENANCIB e os TCCs do curso da UFSCar ratificando a contemporaneidade e validade das pesquisas na graduação em Biblioteconomia e Ciência da Informação oferecida pela Universidade.
