English abstract

Liburuklik: Basque Digital Library is a OAI platform which garantees the spreading and the access to the Basque Bibliographic patrimony, making it possible for any person interested in Basque language and culture to have to be able to do it easily and in a simple way. The Basque Digital Library has been operating for a year and is one of the latest platforms created in the Autonomic sphere, but during the present year the number of digitized images has duplicated and, moreover, a series of functional improvements is being carried out which will affect the usage of the device and the access and spreading of its contents. The documental collection Liburuklik is already provided with a wide range of monographies as well as important collections of magazines and historical Basque press and recently its been enriched with an additionof 265 partitures from the documental collection of Eresbil. Its a repository DSpace oriented towards the conservation and spreading of the Basque Bibliographic patrimony, with a clear goal, that of fostering the collaboration and institutional cooperation and whose contents will be progressivily increased with the bibliographic documents of Basque libraries which are willing to take part in this interesting project. All the images stored in liburuklik will be treated by OCR and every document is offered in JPG as well as PDF format and can be kept, printed or simply visualized on the screen.

Liburuklik : Biblioteca Digital Vasca es una plataforma OAI que garantiza la divulgación y el acceso del patrimonio bibliográfico vasco, facilitando que cualquier persona interesada en la lengua y la cultura vasca pueda tener fácil acceso al mismo. La biblioteca digital vasca lleva un año de funcionamiento y es una de las últimas plataformas creadas en el ambito autonómico, pero a lo largo de este año se ha duplicado el número de imágenes digitalizadas y, además, se están llevando acabo una serie de mejoras funcionales que repercutirán tanto en la usabilidad de la herramienta como en el acceso y difusión de sus contenidos. Liburuklik cuenta ya con un amplio número de monografías así como de importantes colecciones de revistas y prensa histórica vasca y, recientemente, se ha enriquecido con el volcado de 265 partituras del fondo documental de Eresbil. Se trata de un repositorio DSpace orientado a la conservación y difusión del patrimonio bibliográfico vasco con un claro objetivo, el de de fomentar la colaboración y cooperación interinstitucional y, cuyo contenido se irá ampliando progresivamente con los fondos bibliográficos de las bibliotecas vascas que deseen participar en este interesante proyecto. Todas las imágenes almacenadas en Liburuklik están tratadas con OCR, y todos los documentos se ofrecen tanto en formato JPG como en PDF, y se pueden guardar, imprimir o simplemente visualizar y consultar en pantalla.
