English abstract

This article summarizes a master thesis, which explored from the perspective of public libraries and potential users, if and in what form mobile services in Germany could be relevant and feasible. We present the key findings of an online Survey and of a workshop. The workshops methodology as a tool to collect user opinions is particularly highlighted.

Dieser Artikel fasst die zentralen Ergebnisse einer Masterarbeit zusammen, welche aus Sicht Öffentlicher Bibliotheken und aus der Perspektive potentieller Nutzer erforschte, ob und in welcher Form mobile Anwendungen in Deutschland relevant und realisierbar sein könnten. Dargestellt werden Durchführung und Ergebnisse einer deutschlandweiten Online-Umfrage sowie Methode und Resultate eines Workshops. Dabei wird insbesondere auf den Workshop als Instrument zur Erhebung der Nutzermeinung eingegangen.
