English abstract
The intranet is the growing trend in corporations using Internet technology within an organization to solve their internal communications and information management needs, using TCP/IP protocol for EDI and the advantages of hypertext format for their display. Intranet is often referred to as glueware or middleware and as such a unifying element is used to create a seamless and adaptable user-friendly interface access to various contents and knowledge. In times of global hyper-production and dissemination of information, there is a constant and growing lack of efficient tools for knowledge management.
Croatian abstract
