English abstract

The terminological pair knjižnica / biblioteka (English: library) have ben present in Slovenian library terminology for a long time. Excerption of technical and scientific texts has shown different patterns of usage and term formation, thus the aim of the paper is to analyse the occurence of these basic terms in various authorative sources and present an inventory of combined terms.

Slovenian abstract

Termina knjižnica in biblioteka že dolgo sobivata v slovenski bibliotekarski terminologiji. Izpisovanje strokovne in znanstvene literature je pokazalo raznoliko rabo terminov in tvorbe izpeljank, zato je v članku predstavljen njihov nabor, ob tem pa še pojavnost teh za bibliotekarstvo temeljnih terminov v različnih avtoritativnih virih.
