English abstract

Although judo is a sport with great tradition that is practised worldwide, the state of the art and scientific advances have not been analysed from a bibliometric point of view up to now. The aim of the present article is the status of the scientific production, collaboration, and impact of scientific papers on judo, as well as the most active research groups working on this topic.

Spanish abstract

Aunque el judo es un deporte con gran tradición que se practica en todo el mundo, el estado de la técnica y los avances científicos no se han analizado desde un punto de vista bibliométrico hasta ahora. El objetivo del presente artículo es el estado de la producción científica, la colaboración, y el impacto de los trabajos científicos en el judo, así como los grupos de investigación más activos que trabajan en este tema.
