English abstract
The evolution of different technologies information and communication has impacted the way we live and communicate. This impact is reflected in the pedagogical trends taking place currently, and more specifically in the so-called connectivism. This pedagogical approach that includes features of Web 2.0 makes learning a collaborative and participative process. According to the context described above, students need to complement their different skills so they can successfully tackle the growth of information and the emergence of new contents in Internet content. We believe that this will be achieved by developing their information skills, which are the access, treatment, organization and communication of information.
Spanish abstract
La evolución de las diferentes tecnologías de información y comunicación ha tenido impacto en nuestra manera de vivir y comunicarnos. Dicho impacto se refleja en las corrientes pedagógicas que se desarrollan en la actualidad, y más específicamente en el denominado conectivismo. Esta propuesta pedagógica que incluye características de la web 2.0 hace del aprendizaje un proceso colaborativo y participativo. De acuerdo al contexto antes descrito, los estudiantes necesitan complementar sus diferentes habilidades para que puedan afrontar con éxito el crecimiento de información y la aparición de nuevos contenidos en Internet. Creemos que ello se logrará mediante el desarrollo de sus competencias informacionales, que es el fortalecimiento de competencias de búsqueda, acceso, tratamiento, organización y comunicación de información.
