English abstract
This presentation is part of a lecture given to editors of biomedical journals in Mexico and national shows basics of scientometrics, informetrics and bibliometrics. Where the main objective is to show the difficulties of analysis presented by not having a certificate of authors and institutions that are affiliated Mexican researchers.

Esta presentación forma parte de una conferencia brindada a editores de revistas nacionales biomedicas en México y muestra conceptos básicos de cienciometría, bibliometría e informetría. Donde el principal objetivo es mostrar las dificultades de análisis que se presentan por no contar con una homologación de autores e instituciones en las que están afiliados los investigadores mexicanos.
