English abstract
We present a brief description of the short history of the CNIC’S library to show their main services (resource management and contracting, document supply service, scientific production and training) and their particularities as a special library in the field of biomedicine.

Se presenta una pequeña descripción de la corta historia de la biblioteca de la Fundación Centro Nacional de Investigaciones Cardiovasculares para mostrar sus principales servicios (gestión y contratación de recursos, servicio de obtención de documentos, producción científica y formación) y sus particularidades como biblioteca especializada en el campo de la biomedicina.
