English abstract
The Research Data Management project covers the digitization and preservation of raw research data of all Unisa researchers. The Unisa library embarked on this project in 2010 and the project is managed as a systems project. In 2011 a survey was conducted and completed on the Research Data Management practices at Unisa. In 2012 researchers were identified to participate in the project and the High Level Business Requirements were submitted to ICT. In 2013 the focus was to test software and systems e.g. OpenText Collection Server. In 2014 and beyond the focus will be on the development of a policy and other future developments.
