English abstract

Keeping the presence across the medieval Trivium and maintaining the upward in the second millennium Anno Domini, the Aristotelian’s Poetics and Rhetoric always kept the organization of the literary texts, classical option that obliges the writer to accomplish three key steps: inventio, dispositio and elocutio. Another can on of those classical norms,the memoria, int he present time almost only realizes its purpose by ensuring the author skills in the gnosiologic universe, including the globalized information networks, and thus it is in the inventio that the modern framework of information science, with equivalent prominence in this post-custodial period, is organized by intertextual proposals intersect and interpenetrate by multiple disciplines, fulfilling an important operative task. In literature, and although in most cases the contact with the e-book does not exclude the traditional one, it becomes clear that the use of the virtual knowledge networks hosts a convenient, useful and diverse range of materials, also theoretical and critical. But this facility shapes the other face of Janus: it invites to the paraphrases constructing and particularly to the plagiarism practice, unscrupulous enough to kill the true author by the mere palimpsest of his name. Supported by suitable studies on the access to the shared networks information and on the referred practice of plagiarism, this paper aims to exhibit the existing research on knowledge representation based on the information provided by virtual communities, without the expertise assistance of the information science.

Portuguese abstract

Perpassando o medieval Trivium e conservando o seu ascendente no segundo milénio do Anno Domini, a Poética e a Retórica aristotélicas sempre foram organizando qualquer texto literário, arrumação clássica que submete o autor textual a três etapas fundamentais: inventio, dispositio e elocutio. Outro cânone das clássicas normativas, a memoria, no atual contexto apenas quase se realiza ao garantir as competências do autor perante o universo gnosiológico, incluindo as globalizadas redes da informação, sendo então na inventio que o moderno quadro da ciência da informação, destacado tão bem nesta era pós-custodial, é organizado por propostas intertextuais onde múltiplas disciplinas se cruzam e interpenetram, cumprindo um importante papel operativo. No fazer literário, e apesar de na grande maioria das vezes o contacto com o e-book não dispensar a presença física da obra, torna-se inequívoco que o recurso à rede virtual de conhecimento hospeda uma cómoda, útil e variada oferta de materiais, também teóricos e críticos. Mas esta aptidão configura a outra face de Jano: o convite à construção de paráfrases, e sobretudo a prática de plágio que, abandonada de escrúpulos, chega a «matar» o verdadeiro autor pelo simples palimpsesto do seu nome. A partir de estudos reflexivos acerca do acesso à informação compartilhada em rede e à mencionada prática do plágio apresentar-se-á investigação sobre a representação do conhecimento, tendo como base a informação disponibilizada por comunidades virtuais, sem que tenha sido (a informação) analisada sob o olhar do profissional da ciência da informação.
