English abstract

The present communication reports research taking place within the Doctoral Program in Information and Communication in Digital Platforms, the Department of Communication and Art, University of Aveiro and the Faculty of Arts, University of Porto, entitled Social Network for Readers, Writers Juniors , and interdisciplinary character, involving the areas of Information Science, Communication and Education. The case study is conducted in schools in the 1st Cycle of Basic Education, Aveiro, Portugal, and as a tool in empirical phase platform Biblion (www.portal-biblon.com), web space in children's literature that focuses on training social network of readers-writers. The training of readers, in the modern world includes the introduction of digital media activities with the literary text, performed by educational institutions. Once the platform has a central theme Biblon the school community participation, the pertain interaction between users and content production, through various forms of expression. Thus, the Biblon contribute to students' skills to access, use and produce information in social media. Since the study is still ongoing, this opportunity will be given only the initial results of the investigation.

Portuguese abstract

A presente comunicação relata investigação, a decorrer, no âmbito do Programa Doutoral em Informação e Comunicação em Plataformas Digitais, do Departamento de Comunicação e Arte da Universidade de Aveiro e da Faculdade de Letras da Universidade do Porto, titulada Rede Social de Leitores-Escritores Juniores, tendo caráter interdisciplinar, envolve as áreas de Ciência da Informação, Comunicação e Educação. O estudo de caso é realizado nas escolas do 1º Ciclo do Ensino Básico, em Aveiro, Portugal, tendo como instrumento na fase empírica a plataforma Biblon (www.portal-biblon.com), espaço na web de literatura infantil, que objetiva a formação de rede social de leitores-escritores. A formação de leitores, no mundo contemporâneo, passa pela introdução das mídias digitais nas atividades com o texto literário, realizadas por instituições educacionais. Assim a plataforma Biblon tem como mote central a participação da comunidade escolar, ao pertimir a interação entre os utilizadores e produção de conteúdo, através de várias formas de expressão. Desta forma, o Biblon contribuirá para as competências dos alunos para aceder, utilizar e produzir informações nas mídias sociais. Tendo em vista que, o estudo ainda está a decorrer, nesta oportunidade serão apresentados apenas os resultados iniciais da investigação.
