English abstract

This study analyzes the references cited in articles published by Spanish authors of Mathematical Education in indexed journals in the Social Science Citation Index. The purpose of the study is to know what the most cited authors and papers are and therefore identify the most influential authors in the field in Spain. Widely known and used at national and international level bibliometric techniques were used. It was found that the most cited author is Spanish and high citation of articles and authors related to problem solving, learning psychology theories and applications of mathematics education.

Este estudio analiza las referencias citadas en los artículos publicados por autores españoles de Educación Matemática en revistas indexadas en el Social Science Citation Index. El propósito del estudio es conocer cuáles son los autores y los documentos más citados y por tanto identificar a los autores más influyentes en el área en España. Se utilizaron técnicas bibliometricas ampliamente conocidas y utilizadas a nivel nacional e internacional. Se hallo que el autor más citado es español y una alta citación de artículos y autores relacionados con la resolución de problemas, la psicología del aprendizaje y las aplicaciones de teorías de la educación matemática.
