English abstract

Definitely something is changing in the Spanish National Library. The (endless) refurbishment works have integrated through the recesses of the old building in Madrid infrastructure facilities necessary to provide some "intelligence" to the "Head of the Spanish library system." And it is not that uncommon to hear talking about technology projects through the corridors of the BNE.

Sin duda algo está cambiando en la Biblioteca Nacional. Las (interminables) obras de remodelación han permitido integrar por los recovecos del vetusto edificio madrileño la infraestructura necesaria para dotar de cierta "inteligencia" informática las instalaciones de la "cabecera del sistema bibliotecario español". Y ya no es tan raro oír hablar de proyectos tecnológicos por los pasillos de "la Nacional".
