English abstract

This practical and basic guidance aims to give a general description of steps to perform literature searches in PubMed and Lilacs databases. The purpose of the paper is the educational approach, and offers guidelines and tips that have proved useful in the literature search experiences in health.

El presente texto de orientaciones teórico prácticas básicas, pretende realizar una descripción general de las herramientas necesarias para realizar búsquedas bibliográficas en las bases de datos Lilacs y Pubmed. La finalidad del documento es la orientación didáctica, y ofrece pautas y consejos que han resultado útiles en las experiencias de búsqueda bibliográfica en salud.
