English abstract

Consortium is a group of libraries that cooperate each other for their mutual benefit. The paper analyzes the different type of consortiums in India. The main objective of the paper is to review the IIM consortium, which was formed in the year 2000, to benefit the IIM libraries in developing their collection and enhancing the services. The paper describes the IIM Library Consortium Model, cost benefit analysis and discusses the future direction of the same
