English abstract

The existence of Schools which are small, newly established or in transition from traditional librarianship to contemporary information science, is fragile, and potentially any such School might be a beneficiary of cooperation and collaboration. Examines the recent growth of cooperation between Schools of Librarianship and Information Studies.
