English abstract

From searching the works of José Martí in Google Scholar and the use of tools such as Publish or Perish, bibliometric indicators could be determined as the h index that shows the impact of Marti's work. The high values of h that achieves José Martí as author, would place him as a leading researcher currently, with a remarkable impact on Social Sciences. It was determined the Works of José Martí most cited, among which is in the first place “Nuestra America”, which is demonstrated both by the total citations achieved, as following the annual variation for over 20 years. Author's profile for José Martí, in Google Scholar was prepared allowing researchers to establish the authors and articles or books that cite the work of José Martí and opens the way for further research into the network of references to these

A partir de la búsqueda de las Obras de José Martí en Google Académico y con el empleo de herramientas como el Publish or Perish se pudieron determinar indicadores bibliometricos como el índice h que evidencian la vigencia de la Obra Martiana. Los elevados valores de h que alcanza José Martí como autor, lo ubicaría como un investigador de primera línea, en la actualidad, con un impacto notable en las Ciencias Sociales. Se pudo determinar las Obras de José Martí más citadas entre las que se encuentra en primer lugar Nuestra América, lo que se demostró tanto por el total de citas alcanzadas, como siguiendo su variación anual durante más de 20 años. Se preparó el perfil de autor de José Martí, en el Google Académico lo que permite a los investigadores de forma simple establecer los autores y artículos o libros que citan la obra de José Martí y abre camino a otras investigaciones sobre la red de referencias a estas.
