English abstract

Qantitative research, which was done at the First Faculty of Medicine of Charles University in Prague in 2014, April - June, was looking for individual parts of information behaviour of its students and employees, in some cases of employees of General University in Prague. Respondents, who filled out an electronic survey, answered questions about getting specialized information, using electronic information resources and social media. The survey also gave answers about their information literacy and experience with their own retrieval. Finally, the respondents gave feedback which new electronic information resources they need in the faculty library.

Czech abstract

Kvantitativní výzkum provedený na 1. lékařské fakultě Univerzity Karlovy (1. LF UK) v Praze zjišťoval jednotlivé složky informačního chování studentů a zaměstnanců fakulty, popř. lékařů Všeobecné fakultní nemocnice (VFN) v Praze. U respondentů, kteří vyplnili elektronický dotazník, se sledovaly možnosti, jakými způsoby si opatřují a vyhledávají informace v elektronických zdrojích, jaké sociální sítě používají, které alternativy volí pro zpracování rešerší a které ze služeb centrální knihovny fakulty využívají. Zároveň se zjišťoval zájem o kurzy či samotnou výuku informační gramotnosti na 1. LF UK i zájem o nové elektronické informační zdroje na fakultě.
