English abstract

Modern library is a cultural phenomenon with redesigned services and workflow processes, orientated to answer the increasing end users' needs. Library staff is challenged to double the efforts and improve quality of qualification to stimulate the usage of library and information services. Many factors helped the library to transform from a place, where one is borrowing books to an access point for disseminating and retrieving information.

Съвременната библиотека е феномен в културната среда с променени услуги и набор от работни процеси в отговор на нарасналите нужди на библиотечните потребители. Библиотечният персонал насочва усилията си да повиши своята квалификация, за да подобри и увеличи използването на библиотечните услуги. Много фактори превръщат библиотеката от място за заемане на книги до място за получаване и разпространяване на информация.
