English abstract

An analysis of historical and evolutionary process of the classification of sciences, and a description of the same documentary informative activity. A description of the relationship between the evolution of the classification and development of sciences, taking into account that the second ones were those who contributed to the advancement and perfection of classification systems.

Spanish abstract

Se analiza el proceso histórico-evolutivo de la clasificación de las ciencias, así como se la caracteriza en la actividad informativo-documental. Se describe la relación entre la evolución de la clasificación y el desarrollo de las ciencias, tomando como base que las segundas fueron las que contribuyeron al avance y perfeccionamiento de los sistemas de clasificación.
