English abstract

A preliminary study of the Funcasta Photographic Collection belonging to the Photography Library of the Cuban Collection Department of the José Martí National Library of Cuba (BNCJM) is presented. It provides partial results of its inventory, as well as a bibliography of the author and photographer Generoso Funcasta Boizán, unpublished until now, all of which will provide information for the future processing of the collection.

Se presenta un estudio preliminar de la Colección de Fotografías Funcasta, perteneciente a la Fototeca del Departamento Colección Cubana de la BNCJM. Se ofrecen los resultados parciales del inventario de esta, así como la biografía del autor y fotógrafo Generoso Funcasta Boizán, inédita hasta el momento, todo lo cual aportará información para el futuro procesamiento de la colección.
