English abstract
Personal report about cataloguing and networking with LibraryThing, a social cataloging web application for storing and sharing book metadata used by individuals and smaller organisations. LibraryThing was developed by Tim Spalding and went online in 2005. It is not only a simple library catalogue, but also a virtual book discussion club and a network for voracious readers.
