English abstract

The last decades had vanished into dynamically changing world of knowledge. The new information technologies and the rapid development of means and ways for information diversification had a great impact on the future existence of the library institution. The librarians of today are challenged to answer the increasing demand of constant furthering education, improving the rate of professionalism and developing responding attitude towards the increasing users' needs.

Последните десетилетия отбелязват един динамично променящ се свят на знанието. Новите информационни технологии и бързото развитие на средствата и способите за диверсификация на информацията оказват огромно влияние върху библиотечната институция. Съвременните библиотекари са предизвикани да отговорят на нарастващата нужда от нови знания и продължаващото обучение, като непрекъснато повишават своя професионализъм и усъвършенстват подхода си, с цел удовлетворяване на нарастващите нужди на потребителите.
