English abstract

This bibliometric research measures the research performance by calculating and analyzing the level and mean of the collaboration on Indonesian Journal of Chemistry (IJC) 2007-2011. It uses Subramanyam formula to calculate the level of collaboration. The result shows that most of the articles in IJC are written through collaboration with the level of 0.82 and mean cf 3.05 writers per article. From the year of 2007 until 2011, it tends to show improvement on both collaboration and mean figures. The IJC has taken other institution's writer's interests since Gadjah Mada University has contributed only 21.35%. 75 local institutions share 59.06% while 52 foreign institutions share 40.94%.
