English abstract

The paper gives an overview on the experiences with a new concept of internship within the BA Library Science programm of Cologne University of Applied Sciences. It explains how students are prepared for their internship, how and why they select the library which they are trying to convince to take them for an internship and by which activities they report about their experiences of the intership which takes place in the 4th of 6 terms of the program.
