English abstract

The experience of implementation of the Balanced Scorecard's projects in various types of foreign libraries was summarized on base of publications in scientific journals. The conclusion that the usage of the Balanced Scorecard is effective strategic management tool was made. The main characteristics and properties for successful implementation of a Balanced Scorecard were defined.

Спираючись на публікації у фахових наукових журналах, автор узагальнює досвід зарубіжних бібліотек різних типів та бібліотечних консорціумів із впровадження проектів збалансованої системи показників. Зроблено висновок про застосування збалансованої системи показників як дієвого засобу стратегічного управління організацією. Визначено основні характеристики та особливості успішного впровадження збалансованої системи показників.
