English abstract

Needfor different types of Skills for the Library professional is a crucial element in ensuring efficient library services to users. A staff component needs to exposed to relevant training and skill development programmes. This paper will explore the need and the different types of skills requried by the library professional in rendering effective services to its users in this dynamic working environment.
