English abstract

Diplomatics means the science of records. The originality of records can be clarified depending on their era, archival connections and the methodology of diplomatics. Diplomatic issues of Turkey Republic era documents are not considered enough to work with the independent searches so mentioned study has a different significance. The book which is named as “Diplomatics of Modern Records” was written by Associated Professor Doctor who is the lecturer in the department of Information and Records Management in Istanbul University, has been filled the gap in the literature. The author evaluated the record samples that is belonged to public management of Turkey after 1982 constitution in the frame of diplomatical research. The book has five chapters

Diplomatik, belge bilimi anlamına gelmektedir. Belgelerin orijinalliği, dönemi ve arşivsel bağı diplomatik metodolojisi ile gün ışığına çıkabilmektedir. Cumhuriyet dönemi belgelerine ait diplomatik hususlar müstakil araştırmalar ile yeteri kadar değerlendirilmediği için söz konusu çalışma ayrı bir öneme sahiptir. İstanbul Üniversitesi Bilgi ve Belge Yönetimi öğretim üyesi Doç. Dr. Niyazi Çiçek tarafından kaleme alınan Modern Belgelerin Diplomatiği adlı kitap, literatürdeki bu boşluğu doldurmaktadır.
