English abstract

An analysis is made on the problem of teacher preparation in the specialty of Library for the training of librarians at the Fernando Aguado y Rico Polytechnic Institute, and other centers in the province with the specialty; from the important changes that occur at the present time in the technical and vocational education and specifically for the preparation of teachers that assume the crucial task of teaching learning of new generations. The challenge of their individual and collective training; innovative, appropriate, in keeping with the technical and organizational changes, the extraordinary growth of information and knowledge and technology generated products, their impact on the dissemination of information and knowledge by the rapid economic, social and cultural development. The preparation of teachers who will be multipliers of the most advanced in this area, these human resources must be at the level of its time, this proposal preparation should be through a set of actions to be accurate, efficient, current and master the use of new technologies in terms of improving the quality of teaching and training of future workers of information through a comprehensive general culture.

Spanish abstract

Se analiza la problemática de la preparación de los profesores de la especialidad de Bibliotecología para la formación de los bibliotecarios en el Instituto Politécnico Fernando Aguado y Rico, y otros centros de la provincia con la especialidad; a partir de las importantes transformaciones que se manifiestan en los momentos actuales en la enseñanza técnica y profesional y específicamente para la preparación de los profesores que asumen la tarea crucial de la enseñanza aprendizaje de las nuevas generaciones. El reto que representa su preparación individual y colectiva; novedosa, adecuada, a tono con los cambios técnicos y organizativos, al crecimiento extraordinario de la información y el conocimiento y los productos tecnológicos generados, a su impacto en la difusión de la información y el conocimiento por el ritmo acelerado del desarrollo económico-social y cultural. La preparación de los docentes que serán los multiplicadores de lo más avanzado en esta esfera, estos recursos humanos deben estar al nivel de su tiempo, a ello se debe la propuesta de preparación a través de un sistema de acciones que sea veraz, eficiente, actual y domine el uso de las nuevas tecnologías en función de mejorar la calidad de la enseñanza y la formación de los futuros trabajadores de las información a través de una cultura general integral.
