English abstract

Number of organizations, including the libraries, have started using Open Source CMS (content management system) to manage their web content. The paper studies the libraries of Vikram Sarabhai Library and Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad which have successfully implemented Joomla CMS with objective of sharing their experience on package to enable other libraries and information centers to assess understand the appropriateness of the package to their own environment.
