English abstract

Information Communication Technology (ICT) has gained a vital place to intervene in every activities of human life from study room to working place. It has affected the academic processes, corporate house and employment system of the world. To stay with this system students are to be more skilled and proficient on computer and related technology. The present paper is a survey conducted in Prananatha (Autonomous) College, Khurda of Odisha state. The study explores the students' perception, attitude and basic skills on ICT, internet using pattern of the students and use of web based services etc.
