English abstract

Facing the predominant Data-Information-Knowledge discourse as a logical sequence, an Approach-Data-Knowledge-Information is contraindicated, in this order, which justifies the understanding of the Data as elements of the 'Real World', Knowledge as an essential characteristic of a 'Thinking Subject' that perceives it and Information as the main element of a 'Symbolic World' that is the creation of the Thinking Subject and that is composed of Documents that represent, staged or project, the Real World.

Frente al discurso predominante de Datos-Información-Conocimiento como una secuencia lógica, se contrapone una aproximación de Datos-Conocimiento-Información, en este orden, que justifica el entendimiento de los Datos como elementos del ‘Mundo Real’, el Conocimiento como característica esencial de un ‘Sujeto Pensante’ que lo percibe y la Información como elemento principal de un ‘Mundo Simbólico’ que es creación del Sujeto Pensante y que está compuesto por Documentos que representan, escenifican o proyectan, el Mundo Real.
