English abstract

This ​report​, based on the Valencia's Manual,​ shows performance indicators of the units that manage the generation, dissemination and application of scientific knowledge, in the perspectives of institutional capacities for linking and their effective linkage with the academic and non-academic environment. Some of the main categories employees have been the visibility of the production, the consistency in the publication of scientific knowledge, academic collaboration, the formation of new researchers and the multiple ways of linking with the environment. The indicators seek to know the performance of the strategy for the creation of the Research Headquarters for the University of Antioquia-SIU- not in terms of adequate infrastructure to the needs of scientific research, but of its differential impact on production, generation of collaboration and projects interdisciplinary and their relationship with the environment. This report allows us to make a general description of the main contributions of the SIU in this matter and the compare with other similar experiences, which will allow you to travel a route to a model of future evaluation of the link with the environment.​

​​Este​ ​​reporte​, basado en el Manual de Valencia, muestra indicadores de desempeño de las unidades que gestionan la generación, difusión y aplicación de conocimiento científico, en las perspectivas de capacidades institucionales para la vinculación y su vinculación efectiva con el entorno académico y no académico. Algunas de las principales categorías empleadas han sido la visibilidad de la producción, la consistencia en la publicación de conocimiento científico, la colaboración académica, la formación de nuevos investigadores y las múltiples formas de vinculación con el entorno. Los indicadores pretenden conocer el desempeño de la estrategia de creación de la Sede de Investigación para la Universidad de Antioquia-SIU- no en términos de infraestructura adecuada a las necesidades de la investigación científica, sino de su impacto diferencial en la producción, la generación de colaboración y proyectos interdisciplinarios y su relación con el entorno. Este informe permite hacer una descripción general de los principales aportes de la SIU en esta materia y los compara con otras experiencias similares, lo que permitirá recorrer una ruta hacia un modelo de evaluación futuro de la vinculación con el entorno.
